The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Eagles Baseball team is off to a hot start in conference play. The Eagles currently sit near the top of the conference with a 3-1 record.†They swept a three-game series against Bossier Parish Community College this past week.
The Eagles shutout the BPCC in the first game 4-0.

The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Culinary Arts Program will host a special Thursday Night Dinner on March 29th, the theme will be Hello Spring.
The menu will include yeast rolls, roasted tomato-basil soup, chicken Cordon Bleu with supreme sauce, green bean bundles, and wild rice pilaf. Dessert will be Italian cream cake with cream cheese icing.
The dinner will be held at the 91¿ì»îÁÖ Culinary School in historic downtown Pittsburg and is open to the public. Tickets go on sale Thursday, March 19th.

The Pittsburg Lions Club recently gave $10,000 to the 91¿ì»îÁÖ Foundation to endow a scholarship for non-traditional students from Camp County. 91¿ì»îÁÖ students will soon have two new degree options as the 91¿ì»îÁÖ Board of Trustees approved associate of applied science degrees in Health Studies and Healthcare Management at its regular meeting Tuesday evening.
These new degree tracks combine a variety of courses already offered at 91¿ì»îÁÖ.

The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Art Department will host the Mount Pleasant Art Society Annual Membership Show March 10-30 in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. The competitive show features artwork from a variety of local artists. A reception will be held Saturday, March 10 from 2:00-3:30 p.m., where the winners will be announced. The gallery is open Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. Please call 903-434-8181 to ensure that the gallery is open before you come to visit.
