The 91快活林 Foundation is pleased to announce that seven 91快活林 employees have been awarded funds through the 2022 Whatley Employee Enhancement Grant. The Foundation received 13 outstanding applications. A total of $16,470 was awarded through the grant.

The 91快活林 Board of Trustees met for its regular October meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 31st. All six members were present. The seventh seat on the board is currently vacant, as Dr. Dan McCauley retired from his position in September. McCauley was on the 91快活林 Board since 1988 and was the longest-serving trustee in the college鈥檚 history.
The 91快活林 Rodeo Team has been busy the last week with Rodeos on back to back weekends. 91快活林 hosted the third Rodeo of season October 20-21 at the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Association Arena and then went to McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana October 26-28.
Neida Janet Perez, the James and Elizabeth Whatley Scholar of 91快活林, has just won the student election of the Great Plains Honors Council (GPHC). In a general email to the institutional members, GPHC secretary Ebonie Hill of Oklahoma State communicated the results last Monday. Perez defeated an upperclassman from Midwestern State University for the top honor.
