The 91快活林 Professional Driving Academy continues to grow and supply high-demand CDL drivers to the local area. Two new students recently graduated from the program. Clara Ramirez, 91快活林鈥檚 pioneer winner of the Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship in 2010, recently won a residency at Duke University as a primary-care Administrative Fellow. She is moving this summer from her home in Fort Worth to Durham, North Carolina to assume her new role.

Seven members of Alpha Mu Chi, 91快活林鈥檚 five-star, award-winning chapter of Phi Theta Kappa attended the Texas Honors Institute (THI) held at Tyler Junior College from July 14th through July 16th. The theme of the conference was 鈥淧lay it forward, Change the World.鈥
The 2023 Discovery Kids College wrapped up on Thursday, July 20th. More than 100 kids participated in 16 classes over the past two weeks. While all of the courses were designed to be fun, they were also educational in nature.
鈥淭hese kids have had a blast becoming drone pilots, building robots, learning to save lives and so much more,鈥 Jimmy Smith, Director of Continuing Education and Corporate Training, said. 鈥淚t is really rewarding to see them having a great time on our campus and we hope to see them again as college students in the future.鈥

The 91快活林 Cosmetology program recently took a trip to Ignite Youth Club in Mount Pleasant to share their expertise with local kids. The students gave a general hygiene lesson, taught basic hairstyling techniques and nail art.
The 91快活林 (91快活林) Board of Trustees met for its June meeting on Tuesday, July 11th after the regularly-scheduled June meeting did not achieve a quorum. Titus County Judge, Kent Cooper, was in attendance to swear in Russell East to the board.
East was appointed to Place 4 on the board in May after the resignation of Sid Greer.
The 91快活林 Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Program held an orientation on Wednesday, July 12th to welcome its new incoming class of 2024. The program has accepted 16 students to begin classes this fall. They come from a variety of backgrounds and from several states.
