Soccer drops season openers

The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Soccer teams hosted Angelina College in their season and conference opener. The Women’s team fell 17-0 and the Men lost 2-0 on Friday.

The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Women's soccer team began their conference campaign with a lopsided 17-0 loss on Friday day to nationally ranked Angelina College.

PURPOSE:

Faculty required to teach on-campus courses. The primary purpose of this position is the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities. At a minimum, the related activities include instruction, academic advising, serving on various committees, and participating in local, state, regional, and national professional activities and organizations. An instructor performs all other duties as directed by the appropriate program director, Dean, Vice President for Instruction, or the President.

The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Continuing Education department is offering beginner, intermediate and advanced Conversational Spanish classes at the Super Bueno store in Mount Pleasant. Iris Marino is the instructor.

American Sign Language class starts soon

The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Continuing Education department is pleased to offer a series of American Sign Language (ASL) classes beginning Tuesday, Sept. 5th. The classes will be held at Jo's coffee shop in downtown Mount Pleasant and they will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00-7:30 p.m. 

"This is a great opportunity for anyone who has ever thought about learning sign language," Jimmy Smith, 91¿ì»îÁÖ Director of Continuing Education and Corporate Training said. "We are excited to offer this class at Jo's so people can learn in a more casual, social environment."
