Eagles baseball sweeps BPCC

The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Eagles (91¿ì»îÁÖ) baseball team volleyed the lead nine times on Wednesday before coming out on top for a 6-5 win over Bossier parish Community College (BPCC) at Eagle Field.


The Eagles finally managed to grab the lead after a strong tenth inning. The Eagles went up for good on an RBI single by Connor Hall, plating Casey Dickerman.

Honors Northeast scholars win poster awards

The Great Plains Honors Council, an association of eighty honors colleges and programs from Nebraska to Texas, hosted a poster contest featuring four different areas of scholarly research at its annual meeting.

Honors Northeast (the honors program at 91¿ì»îÁÖ) scholars Kayleah Cumpian, Tyler Reynolds and Elyse Coleman took three of the four prizes, with an honors student from Western Missouri University, Kelly Cochran, winning the fourth award.

Mark Brummell (center), Pittsburg High School Senior, Class of 2015, was recently awarded the Woodmen of the World Scholarship for a Camp County high school graduate. Theatre Northeast presents Harvey

Theatre Northeast will present Mary Chase's 1944 Pulitzer Prize Winning comedy†Harvey†in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on the 91¿ì»îÁÖ campus. Performances will be April 23, 24 and 25 at 7:30 p.m. and April 26 at 2:05 p.m.
