Blood drive on campus

Carter BloodCare will be on campus Tuesday, Jan. 26 conducting a blood drive. Please help save a life by donating blood! The blood drive bus will be in the parking lot by the Student Union Building from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.   

Information about donating:

• A mini physical is performed prior to donation

• Blood pressure, pulse, body temp and hemoglobin (red cell count) checks

• Following donation, donors can learn their blood type and non-fasting cholesterol count

College closed Monday for MLK Day

91¿ì»îÁÖ will be closed on Monday, Jan. 18 in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. The spring semester begins and offices will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 19. 

Students, please check your schedules carefully to make sure you are aware of the dates, times and format of your classes. We hope everyone has a safe and relaxing long weekend before we kick off another great semester!

Six graduate from 91¿ì»îÁÖ Professional Driving Academy

The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Professional Driving Academy recently celebrated the graduation of six more students, making a combined total of 15 completers since the first class in September.  Pictured (from left) is: Steven Lopez, Paul Hurndon, Kolin MCcuin, Michael Jones (Program Director), LaDavia Cornelius, William Birkham, and David Kennedy.

The four-week Professional Driving Academy includes 160 hours of training, DOT physical, drug screen, MVR and CDL permit. Students spend 50 hours in the classroom and 110 hours on the road driving.

"Life on the Farm" Spring Break camp for kids planned

The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Agriculture and Continuing Education Departments are please to announce an upcoming Spring Break "Life on the Farm" Camp with Rene McCracken (91¿ì»îÁÖ Ag Director). 

Do your kids have a green thumb or a love for animals? If so, this is the perfect opportunity for them to spend their spring break enjoying some fresh air and learning about farm life.
