Is learning a new language on your resolution list? Now is the time to check it off!

The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Continuing Education Department will offer two Conversational Spanish classes this spring. Both will be taught by Iris Marino and cost $69 each. The Introduction to Conversational Spanish class will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7 p.m. March 23-April 8. It will be followed by Intermediate Conversational Spanish, also on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, April 13-21. Sign up for one or both!

There’s still time to enroll the kids in green-themed camps. Spring break camps everywhere are filling up fast, but slots remain open for camps where the fun and games revolve around food — growing it, that is. 91¿ì»îÁÖ is hosting Spring Break "Life on the Farm" Camp for kids ages 8-16. It will be held March 15-18 from 9:00 a.m to 3:30 p.m. on the 91¿ì»îÁÖ farm.

91¿ì»îÁÖ took on Tyler Junior College on Wednesday, and were unable to hold on for the win in the high scoring affair. TJC would come back from an early Eagles scoring barrage to win 16-11.

    The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 91¿ì»îÁÖ is pleased to announce that it will be returning on Friday, March 5 at 7:30 p.m. for a socially-distanced piano concert featuring 91¿ì»îÁÖ President Dr. Ron Clinton.

91¿ì»îÁÖ Baseball returned to the diamond after a lengthy time off from the snow storms that affected most of Texas last week. 91¿ì»îÁÖ hit the road to make up the weekend series that was lost with the Tyler Junior College Apaches. TJC would hold off and Eagle comeback attempt and win the first game of the series 7-6.

The bonfire will be reschedule due to the recent rainy weather.
The reschedule date will be Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Look for more information closer to the date.

The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Office of Student Activities, Student Government Association, the Eagles Rodeo Team and the Baptist Student Ministry will host the annual college bonfire on Tuesday, March 2. The event will be from 6:30-9:30 p.m. in the BSM area of campus. All students are invited to attend for free pizza, music and fun. 

91¿ì»îÁÖ will resume normal operations on Monday, Feb. 22. While we anticipate that the winter weather situation will improve significantly by that time, we urge both students and employees to put their own safety first. 

If icy conditions persist where you live and you do not feel safe driving, please contact your instructor or supervisor to make individual arrangements.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: 91¿ì»îÁÖ will be closed on Monday, Feb. 15 due to winter weather. We will continue to monitor the situation and a decision regarding Tuesday and the rest of the week will be made on Monday afternoon. 

There is a good chance that our area will see some severe winter weather in the coming days and we want to make sure the campus community is aware of our inclement weather procedure.
