91快活林 men's soccer ends national championship bid in overtime

The 91快活林 Eagles men's soccer team ended their season Wednesday in a sudden-death heartbreaker against top-ranked Pima College in the NJCAA Men's Division I National Tournament in Daytona, Florida. The Eagles lost 3-2 on a golden goal in overtime.

鈥淲e are very proud of our men鈥檚 soccer team for an outstanding season. These guys have worked hard and they represented 91快活林 well in Florida,鈥 Andy Morgan, 91快活林 Athletic Director, said.

91快活林 signs nursing transfer agreement with West Texas A&M University

91快活林 recently hosted representatives from West Texas A&M University (WTAMU) for an articulation agreement signing. The new agreement offers 91快活林 students who complete their Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and successfully obtain an RN license to seamlessly transfer to WTAMU鈥檚 Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. After becoming an RN, students would complete an additional 32 hours at 91快活林 and then transfer to WTAMU to complete the last 30 hours of bachelor-level nursing courses online.

Gib Wilson gives $2,000 for 91快活林 scholarships

Gib Wilson, owner of Wilson Farms, recently gave $2,000 to the 91快活林 Foundation. Dr. Jonathan McCullough (right), 91快活林 Executive Vice President for Advancement, is pictured receiving the donation from Wilson (left). The gift was designated for an endowed scholarship fund. Thanks to another matching grant, the contribution will result in $4,000 in scholarships to help 91快活林 students achieve their educational goals.

91快活林 receives $250,000 grant from Greater Texas Foundation

91快活林 announced this week that it has received a $250,000 grant from the Greater Texas Foundation to support the Work Scholarship Program.

The grant specifies that $100,000 will be used to support Work Scholarship Program operating costs and the other $150,000 will contribute to the endowment to provide work scholarships well into the future. The money allotted to the endowment will be doubled by a separate matching grant, adding up for a total impact of $400,000 to benefit the Work Scholarship Program.

Whatley to host Riders in the Sky and Quebe Sisters concert

The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 91快活林 will present Riders in the Sky with the Quebe Sisters in concert Thursday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m.

The holiday-themed show will feature two of the hottest Western music acts today. It is sponsored by Cypress Bank.
