The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Ag Department is hosting its Springfest on the 91¿ì»îÁÖ Farm event through April 23. The open farm and plant sale is open to the public! Come see all that farm has to offer and buy plants to get your own summer garden started. 

On Saturday, the Ag Club will sell chicken tamale lunches for $10. The event will be held from 1:00-5:30 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. For more information contact René McCracken at 903-434-8267 or rmccrackent@ntcc.edu. 

Texas A&M University-Texarkana at 91¿ì»îÁÖ will host a PLACE Lecture in the Biggers Room (and via Zoom) on Tuesday, April 26 at 12:15 p.m. 

Dr. Melissa Fulgham, 91¿ì»îÁÖ Division Chair and Professor of History, will deliver the lecture. The topic will be "Distinguishing between the Sacred and the Profane: 3 controversies over Time and Place: April Fool's Day, Pope Gregory's Letter and Thanksgiving."

The Bellamy Brothers will perform at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of Northeast Texas on Friday, April 29 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are very limited, so get yours today at or by calling the box office at 903-434-8181. Seats are $30 for adults and $10 for students. The concert is sponsored by Guaranty Bank and Trust.

Recently, the Continuing Education and Corporate Training Department delivered conversational Spanish instruction to employees of Bo Rester State Farm. The training was conducted on site at the location of the business before the team started their day.

The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Art Department recently hosted a reception to honor the work of 2021-2022 students. The art exhibit/contest is on display in the foyer of the Whatley Center through April 27th. The public is invited to view the free exhibit during regular business hours. Winning works are marked with ribbons.

The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Wesley Fellowship Spring Banquet was recently held at Tennison United Methodist Church in Mount Pleasant. During the event, the Wesley Fellowship Board of Directors announced that the building is being renamed the John and Janet Bryan Wesley Fellowship Center. They were presented with a plaque to commemorate the honor (pictured). The Bryans, of Naples, were instrumental in founding the 91¿ì»îÁÖ Fellowship Center, working to get it constructed and Mr. Bryan remains an active member of the Wesley Fellowship Board.

     Eleven members of 91¿ì»îÁÖ's Phi Theta Kappa chapter recently attended Phi Theta Kappa’s International Convention, Catalyst 2022, which was held in Denver during April 7-9.  Keynote speakers featured this year included, Dr.

The theatre department at 91¿ì»îÁÖ is pleased to present A Night of Shorts…But Not the Bermuda Kind April 21-23 on the stage of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. The production will include five short plays written and directed by Dr. Page Petrucka, 91¿ì»îÁÖ Associate Professor of Theatre.
