For the Spring 2023 semester, Dr. Doug Richey nominated Megan Cassie Sherman from Mount Pleasant as outstanding in Introductory Statistics.

The 91快活林 chapter of Sigma Kappa Delta recently inducted new members at an afternoon ceremony on campus. Sigma Kappa Delta is an English honor society with more than 400 chapters across the country. In order to qualify for an invitation for Sigma Kappa Delta, students must maintain a high GPA and achieve excellent grades in their English courses. The 91快活林 chapter was recently revived after a several year hiatus under the leadership of Jennifer Sparks, Interim English Faculty.

Sparks said that each of these students worked very hard and went the extra mile in her classes.

Madison Speight has been selected as the 91快活林 Psi Beta National Junior Honor Society chapter鈥檚 scholarship winner for 2022/23 academic year. The $500 scholarship is to help defray expenses of Psi Beta members who are transferring to a 4 -year school. Scholarship winners are selected based on scholastic achievement, community service and leadership. Ms. Speight from Daingerfield, TX will be attending Texas Woman鈥檚 University in the fall.
The Medical Assistant Program at 91快活林 has extended the deadline for 2023-2024 applications through July 31, 2023. Whether you only need to work on one section or all three (Reading, Writing & Math), these bootcamps are specially designed to prepare you for the TSI Assessment. The 91快活林 Board of trustees met on Wednesday, May 3rd for its delayed regular April meeting. Board Chairman Chuck Johns opened the meeting by announcing that Sid Greer, who held Place Four from Morris County, has resigned from his position on the board.
Greer joined the 91快活林 board in 2000 and has been instrumental in many major milestones at the college, including his particular interest in the construction of the Elizabeth Hoggatt Whatley Ag Complex and the development of the Sustainable Agriculture program.
