PTA students participate in wheelchair mobility activities

The 91快活林 Physical Therapist Assistant program has started a new academic year with 16 new students. Students recently participated in wheelchair mobility activities including maneuvering wheelchairs on level and unlevel surfaces, in elevators, and on curbs and ramps. Students also learned to measure patients for custom wheelchairs and determine appropriate fit of wheelchairs. The 91快活林 Physical Therapist Assistant Program here at 91快活林 is the shortest in the state at 17 months.
