Job Duties:

  • Provide reception services for CIS/UB office and staff.
  • Develop and manage a calendar.
  • Establish and maintain filing and record keeping.
  • Maintain ledger on program expenditures and ledger of budget items.
  • Complete data entry for CIS and UB and generate relevant reports.
  • Work closely with the Project Directors and staff to promote the programs and fulfill the program mission.

PTA program hosts Texas Physical Therapy Association district meeting

The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Physical Therapist Assistant program hosted the Texas Physical Therapy Association East Texas District (ETD) meeting and continuing education on Thursday, Sept. 21. Current PTA students participated in the ETD business meeting. They also learned about opportunities for engagement in their professional organization through a continuing education presentation by Dr. Lois Stickley, Associate Professor at Texas State University, DPT school.

Free tutoring available for students

The fall semester is well underway and many students may find themselves needing extra help with their classes. Did you know that 91¿ì»îÁÖ offers FREE tutoring? There are options to fit your needs whether you need face-to-face help on campus or virtual sessions through Teams.

There are two dedicated locations for tutoring – the Writing Center in Humanities 110 and the STEM Center in Math/Science 110. Below are the current tutor schedules:

91¿ì»îÁÖ receives $25,000 from Ed Rachal Foundation

The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Foundation recently received a $25,000 grant from the Ed Rachal Foundation. Thanks to an additional matching grant opportunity, the funds will be doubled for a $50,000 impact. The grant will be utilized to expand the reach of the Work4College Program. The innovative Work4College Program enables students to work on campus and pay for their college in advance.

Marty Stuart kicks off Whatley Center season on Oct. 5th

The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 91¿ì»îÁÖ will kick off its 2023-2024 performance season with a special event concert by country music legend on Thursday, Oct. 5th at 7:30 p.m.

Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives band will take the stage to perform your favorite classics as well as music from his latest album that was released earlier this year.
