The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Eagles baseball season came to an end Monday afternoon as the team lost 9-1 to Texarkana College in game six of the NJCAA Region XIV Tournament. The game ended after eight innings due to the NJCAA run rule.

Day two of the NJCAA Region XIV Baseball Tournament started off with another close game on Monday as Alvin Community College beat Paris Junior College 8-7 in extra innings.
The loss eliminated Paris from the tournament and sent Alvin on to see day three. The Dolphins will face the loser of game eight ? which will either be Galveston or Blinn.
Alvin got on the board early, scoring one in the bottom of the first.
The NJCAA Region XIV Baseball Tournament continued with its pattern of long, extra-inning ballgames on Wednesday night as San Jacinto College beat Galveston College 6-5 in 16 innings.
San Jacinto remains the only undefeated team in the tournament. Galveston will play Navarro at 1 p.m. on Thursday (game 13) in order to try to earn the chance for a re-match with San Jacinto at 5 p.
San Jacinto started off strong, putting three runs on the board in the bottom of the first.

The game was late getting started and continued on into Monday morning after game three went 13 innings. Despite being the higher seed, 91¿ì»îÁÖ was unable to combat Galveston?s strong hitting.

Baseball fans got their money?s worth in game three of the NJCAA Region XIV Baseball Tournament as San Jacinto College narrowly beat Paris Junior College 5-4 after 13 innings of play.
San Jacinto and Paris traded runs in the first inning, putting the score at 1-1. No runs were scored through the second to the top of the fourth.
The Blinn Buccaneers earned a place in the winner?s bracket Sunday afternoon as they came from behind to beat Texarkana College 11-6 in game two of the NJCAA Region XIV Baseball Tournament at 91¿ì»îÁÖ in Mount Pleasant.
Texarkana jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the second. Texarkana added another two in the third and one more in the top of the fourth.
After being delayed for a day due to rain, the NJCAA Region XIV Baseball Tournament kicked off on Sunday morning at 91¿ì»îÁÖ in Mount Pleasant. Navarro College defeated Alvin Community College 5-0 in the first match up.
Navarro?s Chad Young pitched nine innings for the win, allowing no runs on four hits and an impressive 13 strikeouts.
Navarro?s offense was led by Brode Boyd?s hitting. He went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run.
The Region XIV Baseball Tournament has been postponed due to rain. Games are planned to begin on Sunday, May 13.
