The current issue provides a summary of student success stories in honors last fall: 91快活林鈥檚 four presenters who made the National Collegiate Honors Council, Neida Perez鈥檚 election to the top student post of the Great Plains Honors Council, Michelle Calderon鈥檚 exclusive Dr. Mary Hood Award, and several scholarship winners. The newsletter also contains tributes to recent honors donors, which have enabled a special culture of research, as well as 鈥渞ocketship pedagogy.鈥 There is also a section on 91快活林鈥檚 Caldwell-Award winning film project, the outcome of the Northeast Texas Poetry Contest, and a section on 鈥渁lacritous alumni,鈥 an update on six former members of Honors Northeast.
