The 91����� Eagles Baseball team split a double header with Hutchinson on Thursday. The Eagles won game one 7-1 and dropped the second game 9-7.

In the opener, the eagles had a big third inning which propelled them to the win. ,†, and††all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

The Eagles actually got things started in the first inning when††doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs. Then in the third they†notched five more runs, including home runs by†,†, and†.

Chandler Dean†led things off on the rubber for†. He pitched seven innings, allowing one run on four hits and striking out four.† The Eagles†racked up nine hits.†,†, and††each collected multiple hits for†.†The defense played sure-handed and didn't commit a single error.††made the most plays with seven.

Thursday's second game against Hutchinson was a heartbreaker for†the Eagles, as they lost the lead late in a 9-7 defeat. The game was tied at seven with Hutchinson batting in the top of the tenth when††homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.† Despite the loss,†the Eagles did collect 12 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Hutchinson had 12 hits on the way to victory.
