Senator Ted Cruz staffer visits 91��

Daniel Alders, East Texas Regional Director for Senator Ted Cruz, visited 91�� Wednesday. Dr. Johnson and Dr. McCullough met with him to discuss legislative issues affecting 91��. He toured the campus and learned about the innovative programs and initiatives being implemented by our faculty and staff.

The funeral service program at 91�� was a great program that helped me become confident in the field. I learned great skills that will benefit me from being a funeral director to an embalmer. This program worked for me, being able to do it online remotely. I was able to work full-time; and gain knowledge from being able to work hands on doing an apprenticeship. The courses here at 91�� were beneficial and important to help us be successful as we go and serve the families in the areas where we reside. My experience here was amazing, the Funeral Service Professors were amazing and willing to help in any way to help us become successful. — Kelby Dayley
