J.T. and Kaye Brison give 91¿ì»îÁÖ scholarship

The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Foundation recently received a $500 gift from J.T. and Kaye Brison to support the Brison-Crosby Education Scholarship. The scholarship fund is in memory of Kaye?s grandmother, Hettie Agnes Crosby, and will be awarded to an education major attending 91¿ì»îÁÖ. Texas Heritage National Bank sponsors Honors Northeast scholarship

Texas Heritage National Bank recently presented the 91¿ì»îÁÖ Foundation with $4,000 to sponsor a Presidential Scholar in Honors Northeast. The 91¿ì»îÁÖ honors program was founded in 2007 and has attracted top high school graduates from around the region. Woodmen of the World endow 91¿ì»îÁÖ scholarship in memory of Beau Brummell

The Woodmen of the World organization recently presented a check for $25,000 to the 91¿ì»îÁÖ Foundation.† These funds will be used to establish The Beau Brummell Woodmen of the World Endowed Scholarship, which will provide an annual scholarship for a local student attending 91¿ì»îÁÖ each year. The Pineywoods Iris Society recently held a meeting at the Elizabeth Hoggatt Whatley Agriculture Center at 91¿ì»îÁÖ. The group presented a check for $500 to the 91¿ì»îÁÖ Foundation in order to provide a scholarship for an 91¿ì»îÁÖ agriculture student. The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 91¿ì»îÁÖ recently received a $3,000 donation from J.T. and Kaye Brison. The Brisons are pictured with Carolyn Franks, Director of the Whatley Center (left). The funds were used to sponsor the performance of Restless Heart on Friday, February 10. 91¿ì»îÁÖ receives $100,000 endowed agriculture scholarship

The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Foundation recently received a $100,000 gift to establish the Charlie and Abbie Brown Memorial Scholarship. The endowment will provide scholarships for Mount Vernon High School graduates attending 91¿ì»îÁÖ and majoring in agriculture.

Mount Pleasant Fine Arts Club gives scholarship

The Mount Pleasant Fine Arts Club recently gave $500 to the 91¿ì»îÁÖ Foundation. The funds will be used to provide a scholarship for an 91¿ì»îÁÖ student majoring in art, music or drama. The group has been contributing to scholarships since 1985 when the college first opened. They also presented a $25 honorarium to the 91¿ì»îÁÖ Art Department. The club made the presentation while holding their club meeting on campus in the art lab.
